A special milestone: our first Christmas as a Trust of 10 schools
We're celebrating our first Christmas as a Trust of 10 schools. You can read all about their cracking Autumn 2 in our latest newsletter.
Highlights include the cross-primary Maths Bee which left us all buzzing! What can best be described as a 'swarm' of talented Year 4 mathematicians battled it out for first place, with Fircroft Primary emerging victorious.
Paxton Academy and Norbury High School for Girls continued their brilliant work as part of local oracy projects supporting children and young people all the way up from Nursery.
As well as lots of super festive celebrations, Trust schools continued to play a strong community role (both locally and globally) with collections for those affected by Hurricane Melissa, twinkling Winter and Christmas Fairs for all the family and local choir performances, including for those affected by dementia.
Meanwhile, working with FFT Education Little Wandle launched Little Wandle Code, a brand new all-in-one assessment and phonics intervention programme for Key Stage 3. They have already received strong interest from all-through schools and MATs who are using the popular primary programme, which is wonderful to see.
Wandle Learning Partnership, Wandle Teaching School Hub Wandle English Hub and London South West Maths Hub continued to offer excellent support and professional development for schools in their regions, as well as to the Trust's own schools.
