Wandle Learning Partnership Director, Matthew Courtney contributed to a podcast for World Book Day Charity Department for Education, with brilliant advice for sustaining meaningful reading for pleasure activity throughout the year. This issue includes super, sustainable ideas and inspiration from Fircroft, Chesterton, Hellingly and Kensington Avenue primaries.
Paxton Academy and Thomson House School Jackie Sanders have both done excellent work this half-term supporting parents with developing essential digital skills to support employability and to help their children to stay safe online.
Congratulations are in order for Norbury High School for Girls where a Year 8 student has won a competition to have her artwork form part of the set for a Deutsche Bank Shakespeare's Globe production.
Grovelands lifted all our spirits with a gorgeous montage of Spring photos from their farm and shared details of all the incredible outdoor learning that children have benefited from.
Little Wandle shared news that the first secondary school members are now being onboarded to Little Wandle Code, an all-in-one phonics intervention and assessment programme for struggling Key Stage 3 readers with FFT Education.
