Our Committees

Trustees receive reports from our Chief Executive Officers and other key leaders and professionals within our trust to consider the course of action that will most benefit the outcomes for children within our schools. In our trust, these functions are executed through meetings of the board and its sub-committees:

Finance & Resources Committee dealing with budgets, monitoring actual income and expenditure, and monitoring the use of other resources, including staffing.

Audit & Risk Committee provides oversight and assurance of the effectiveness of financial controls and risk management systems.

Standards Committee monitors the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, safeguarding, and the strategic oversight of the Wandle Learning Hubs.

Pay Review Committee seeks assurance that pay, and performance management procedures are fair and consistent across the Trust, and that the appraisal objectives are robustly linked to raising standards and pupil outcomes.

Nominations Committee dealing with governance – monitoring governance recruitment, retention, and evaluating the quality of governance across the organisation.

Chairs’ Group Committee brings chairs of local governance together with trustees to share best practice around governance and strategic priorities at a local level.

Little Wandle Committee deals with the strategic development of the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised, in accordance with the Trust's charitable objectives.
